One month in...

I started in LSAD four weeks ago and I'm just settling into the swing of things now. We got a project on the first week called Movement and Motion and we've been working on it since. At first I started exploring a few different themes like trains, dancers, and capturing movement. One of my favourite artists is Claude Monet and when I saw his series of Rouen Cathedral paintings I thought of movement and motion. Even though each painting is of the same subject, they are all completely different becuase of the changing light. When I saw them all in a row, I realised there was great movement in each painting. Keeping this technique in mind I started to explore how I could use the same idea to describe movement. I decided to document the inside of my fridge as this would change everyday. I'm going to expand on this by documenting other domestic scenes that change frequently.
